Ha, the dark ride paint jobs aren't on the spfx Freddy's level whatsoever

Lol! It looks like they're charging $49.99 for international shipping over here. I noticed there were 5 available to begin with on eBay, and there's still five at the moment! I don't think I'll be pressing the "Buy It Now" button anytime soon! My shopping cart remains empty

That's true, James' paint skills are average at best. That's why you see a lot of Freddy darkride owners sending in their masks to other artists to have them repainted.

But that's all the SPFX mask has on darkride in my opinion. It's a generic style Fred mask, it wasn't sculpted with any particular movie from the series in mind.

I think it's still the best looking generic style Freddy mask.

I just would love to see all those "rare pictures/photos" that was spoken about, that were available from New Line Cinema or Warner Brothers their archives that were used as sculpting reference.

To be honest, the more I look at this in close-up from those shots...the more it looks like cheap latex. Marketing this in the way they have done is a major miscalculation. That price is beyond a bad joke. Even if someone did buy this, then decided they didn't want it after a while...the chances of trying to re-sell for nearly the same price would be small. They would have to lose money on this. Trying to market that using a remake glove and a SERIOUSLY bad hat is just adding more no thanks into the mixture. Fail.

These aren't being marketed to the hardcore community or they would be available through Immortal masks. These will look incredible to the average person that stumbles across them. Keep that in mind

That's the thing, the "average person" would NOT be willing to spend $1,000 on a Halloween mask. If anything, that site should be selling it cheaper than the fan-made ones.

My non-collector friends think I'm nuts for spending what I do on masks, so I just don't see the casual Freddy fan buying one of these.
