    WFX Masks Question

    Greetings from England.
Just a quick question regarding the WFX masks.
From reading on here it seems there's a difference between the masks bought at the WFX website to those sold from them on e-bay.
Is it a huge difference or does anyone have any pics to compare the two?
I'm looking at buying a mask and my fave is probably the Part 4 mask.
It's a lot to spend (even on the ebay masks as I've got to add on around another $100 in import tax), so want to make sure I make the right decision.
    All advice appreciated,
    Cheers.

The difference is the paint job.. The eBay $299 version only comes with a basic red, one-layer paint job.
Definitely not worth it IMO. I have mentioned to Brian that his listing should be more clear about that.
I purchased my Part for for $299 & contacted Brian about the paint job I was looking for.
He gave me a fair price on what I wanted & I'm totally happy with the mask.
I do strongly recommend contacting Brian through eBay & asking him about pricing though..
He's great at communicating with his customers.. Might be a bit busy right now though.

Good to see a fellow Brit here! I've never dealt with Brian directly, but a lot of people say his customer service is very good and his comms are great. Might be worth asking him what you're looking for. Another route would be to see about whether you can get hold of a blank/unpainted mask and having another company custom-paint it for you? Only downside to that would be the added costs, especially with customs tax and shipping...but if you end up with a high level paintjob, it's still worth the extra effort.

I just received my Part 4 mask from WFX and agree that the upgraded paint job is a must. I bought mine through eBay, but then contacted Brian and paid extra for the premium paint job. It was totally worth it and I am very happy with my mask. Looking at pictures of the basic eBay paint job, it is clear there is a big difference in the quality between the two paint jobs.

I also agree that Brian is great with customer service and since it's impossible to get a Darkride mask right now, Brian's Part 4 mask is the way to go.

Here's a pic of my mask.

    That does look awesome.
With regards to the Dark Ride masks, does anyone know when if and when they'll be up for sale again?
Is it worth holding out for a while?

I recommend being careful with this statement as I've gone wrong with him before
One, two, freddys coming for you....

three, four, better lock your door....

    five, six, grab your crucifix....

    seven, eight, better stay awake....

    nine, ten, never sleep again....
