    Exclamation Incubus & Glue/Makeup help

Hey guys! My first post so be kind.

firstly, I just got my first ever silicone mask, the incubus hand and mask for $300. It's great, not perfect , but for my party needs it's gonna be great. I wish I could justify getting the part 4 SFX mask but I just can't spend $200 more and no glove for a party.

That said, the mask fits well. I am curious if you could please share some dos and donts regarding wearing , storing etc. here's a few questions below.

    1. What's the best way to adhere the eyes and lips to my face so they don't move?

    2. Makeup around mouth and eyes, advice?? Do I do makeup after I glue? Will the makeup come off the mask with remover and not harm the mask?

    3. Will heat of 100 degrees or so harm the mask or the paint job? (Considering storage options)

    4. My sweater came pre burnt with burn holes. FYI, my chest and back are not burnt! Suggestions as to something I could iron behind the holes to look like burnt flesh? I don't want to wear a shirt under as I'll be hot enough with the sweater!

    5. I ordered a glove from razor gloves 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything or gotten any confirmations. Are they reliable? I paid via PayPal. I just got the basic metal glove, again budget.

    6. Speaking of hot , I had he mask on for 20 min and was covered in sweat inside. Do you powder it inside every wear? If I do, will that affect any adhesive to my face? Lastly, has anyone ever thought to smear their head and face in antiperspirant gel?! Any reason not to? Does it work? (This last question sounds so dumb written down!)

thanks for for as much advice as you can give!

I've not heard of anyone actually using adhesive on silicone masks, so I can't speak to that.

Regarding question 5, I've done business with Chris many times over the years, and he's absolutely reliable; no need to worry on that front.

You'll want to clean out the inside of the mask after each wear with a damp towel and powder it with Corn Starch in order to preserve/protect it.

Thanks very much for the reply, helpful information!

Anyone else have any further info for the other questions?

PS. What's up with all the porn site postings on the main page?? Is anyone monitoring that or do we all just find it super helpful info? ha.

I agree with evilashlives .... I own 2 WFX masks and do not use glue you shouldn't have too a good fitting silicone mask should fit well and move with your face. I have been very happy with both my WFX masks... I myself do not like the way the Incubus mask fits.

The Incubus isn't for anyone, but if you don't mind it being a bit different than it's good. Anyways, don't for the love of god don't use adhesive on your face the silicone mask like someone said fits around your face nicely with some slight adjustments to make it fit. Now, it depends on the makeup for me I didn't use it because my eyes have natural dark circles around them (hehe). As for taking care of the mask well you already got your answers.
